Hydrokleen System Technologies – Process Tanks

Hydrokleen filtration systems employ state-of-the-art, application proven materials of construction and manufacturing techniques to exceed requirements for performance, durability and corrosion prevention. Hydro Engineering, Inc. product quality and design experience ensures customers the most reliable and cost effective solutions available.

Process tanks used in Hydrokleen systems are manufactured using rotational molding, a technology first developed over 60-years ago. This refined technology has replaced metallic components virtually everywhere today for several very good reasons.

Greater Design Flexibility – Rotational molded equipment can be designed and manufactured to fit just about any space available. Often parts that are assembled from multiple pieces can be consolidated into one rotational molded item. This improves design possibilities. And, fewer parts provide fewer chances for item failure.

Corrosion and Stress – Metal tanks are weakest and have the highest corrosion potential at corners and joints. This is the exact area that endures the most stress. Damage sustained from bending and exposure to heat applied during welding puts extreme stress on joints. Rotational molding is a uniform one piece formation. The resin coats every surface evenly so there are no weak points, no potential leak points, and consistent wall thickness. And quite simply, plastic doesn't rust.

Superior Strength – A number of factors contribute to the superior strength of rotational molded tanks. This includes durability of plastics, consistent wall thickness, one-part construction and superior corrosion resistance. Corrosion of rotational molded tanks used in wash systems is non-existent. They have strength and chemical compatibility to last virtually forever even when highly corrosive oxidizers (such as ozone) are employed.

Simple Process Modifications – Process design modifications, additions or minor alterations are relatively simple with a rotational molded tank. No disassembly, cutting torch or welder is needed. And, new corrosion points (welds) are not created.

Cost Saving & Availability – Rotational molded tanks are far less expensive than metal tanks to purchase, ship and maintain plus due to the many technological advantages of manufacturing, they are readily available.
