Operator is using a Hydroblaster hot water high pressure cleaning system without detergent to remove grease and oil from bus wheels and bus exterior. Wash water that lands on the Hydropad wash rack is collected in the side gutter, treated, and reused as wash water. Wider Hydropads and splash walls would improve wash water containment.

Fuel tanker is parked on a Hydropad secondary containment rack. Each Hydropad is an 8' X 8' X 10" high tub with removeable internal equipment support structure. Constructed of heavy gauge steel and then hot dipped galvanized. The six Hydropads in this array are connected to provide 2,100 gallons of secondary containment. Vehicles up to 30 tons per axle can be driven up the entry/exit ramps and safely stored on the secondary containment rack.

Wash water is collected in the wash rack side gutter and discharged to filtration and treatment equipment that conditions the wash water for reuse or discharge to sewer.
